The Children and the In-Laws

Here are the kids and the in-laws. We are missing Ate Bay and family, and Kuya Carl and family. Kuya Ding was the only one who made it. It was nice to catch up with everyone that was there. There were new additions to the family - mostly great grandkids. I wish I could be this lucky to see my great grandkids. A real happy birthday despite the complaints of aches and the pains of old age.

Last Saturday, 23rd of May Mom and Ate Curing celebrated their birthdays. In the picture, sitting in front is Auntie Curing and Mom with the grandkids and great grandkids. Auntie Curing turned 82 and Mom will be turning 77 on the 4th of June. Brianna is standing next to grandma.

We had a great time in San Diego. Brianna played with all her cousins there and then we also went to the beach and I did some shopping at the Mexican border - ooooo swine flu. We celebrated my Auntie Cora's and my Mom's birthday. More Pictures of the relations later on. Nice to be home.

Home Schooling at the West Covina Public Library can be fun. I thought it won't be distracting to study at the library but all the books were calling to us - it is fun to have all the freedom to do home schooling but it could be a bit slow cause Brianna takes her time and loves to do a lot of extensive reading. Her teacher, Cecelia, in New Zealand is being updated all the time.

Brianna loved Krispy Kreme donuts and she enjoyed watching them being made. However, she has big eyes and a little stomach. She cannot eat a dozen but enjoyed as much as she can.

Watching a Broadway Show with Friends

We went to see Jesus Christ Superstar with Ninong Chuck, Ninang Jen and Nolan. We were so happy to see Jennifer prenant and expecting a baby in August. Nolan will have a brother soon.
Seeing family and friends makes LA feel like home again.
Brianna and Nolan met most of the cast of the show and
got autographs after the show. We even met Jasmine, Jen's
niece, who was one of the cast. So much talent in LA

Meeting Friends

It was great seeing old friends again. We went to Chinatown to get Makaio a haircut and shop for slippers for Brianna but she didn't find anything she wanted. It was nice to see the crowd and the colours of downtown LA.

Keeping Busy in Los Angeles

The first night we were greeted by our family. Kylie and Cody are getting bigger and older. Here they are playing with myhair and I'm playing with my nintendo. It is so nice to be wearing just a T-shirt. We would be freezing right now if we were in Wellington.
